I'm interested in purchasing a 10 pack of personal trainer sessions from my local 24 Hour Fitness (I'm already a member).
The current price is $569 for 10 (1 hour) sessions.
Is the base price ($569) negotiable?
What percentage of the base price goes to the club and what percentage goes to the trainer?
Does 24 Hour Fitness ever offer discounts for a block of 1 hour sessions?
What (if anything) should I ask the salesperson to knock off the base price?
Thanks for any help you may provide.

Re: Personal Trainer Packages: How Can I Negotiate A Better Price?
Wed, October 11, 2006 - 10:45 PMIt's been a while since your post but I hope this may still be useful. To answer your question simply, no, our prices are not negotiable. Our specials are provided by the powers that be at corporate and ARE MANDATORY! If a deal is sold without including the discount, whoever wrote that deal will not get paid their comission. With 385 locations world wide and 300 more coming in the next three years, consistency is crucial. If each club had the ability to set their own pricing it would be chaos. If you have any further questions about current specials or just in general feel free to ask.

Re: Personal Trainer Packages: How Can I Negotiate A Better Price?
Sun, November 12, 2006 - 9:02 AMRight now they have a special where you buy 5 and get the 6th free... There might be one for the larger package as well. It goes with all those signs you see in the club for Big Loser. I took advantage of it and I'm really glad I did. My trainer is awesome. Are you in Seattle? I'll give you his name.

Re: Personal Trainer Packages: How Can I Negotiate A Better Price?
Wed, August 8, 2007 - 10:14 PMAs i reply even later, the previous poster was correct. No prices at @24 hour fitness are negotiable and all specials are mandatory. The only thing that is optional is the nutri-kit that is included with all packages. It is stronly recommened that you purchase it as part of your training but the fitness manager does have the power to drop it off your price($50).
